Getting Started

Weekly SMECLE Play:

1. Daily check SMECLE’s Private Face Book Group – Watch lessons and new posts.
2. Attend Live Zoom Lessons – Thursday afternoons.
3. Sound Flowers: Yellow Buttons on SMECLE homepage –  Sound & Make focus concepts – Mondays and Squiggle Flower on Wednesdays.
4. Login to backend (they are to learn to use the interface) conduct 3 Activities (SMS) twice weekly and Play it / Solo Play on Fridays.
5. Technology -Empower them with technological skills that encompass editing, crafting digital memes relating to their passions, enhancing photographs, creating digital books, and crafting succinct videos. These creations will revolve around their personal narratives, accompanied by thoughtfully composed text and sentences. This enables them to seamlessly share these treasures with cherished ones while preserving them as timeless mementos.
6. Photograph or video record the outcomes of your children’s SMS experiences. Share these outcomes on the SMECLE private Facebook Group as well as with your close family and friends. Request their engagement in bolstering the learning process and encourage them to respond with their own interpretations in kind.
7. Daily complete assigned tasks from FB lessons.

Resources: Make sure you have a SMECLE Visual Board (or small whiteboard) displayed with concept on it, internet connection and a device (tablet, computer or smartphone) connected to a speaker. Download recommended photo, Meme and book making apps. Then they are good to go!
